Rockcorry Community Development Association (RCDA), an ‘umbrella organisation’ for numerous community groups in the area, wishes to commend the work of our Christmas Lights Committee which culminated in the very successful Switch-On and Carol Service on Friday evening last.
The hard-working committee, a sub-committee of Rockcorry Tidy Towns, had spent countless hours preparing for this event. In carrying on the tradition started more than a decade ago by previous Christmas Tree Committees, our selfless workers, by giving their time and talent, underline the importance of volunteerism. The ongoing efforts of all our ‘community contributors’ are deeply appreciated.
