The Rockcorry Community Development Association (RCDA) was set up after the publication of the ‘Rockcorry Vision Plan 2030’ in the Autumn of 2024. ‘Rockcorry Vision Plan 2030’ is a community-led integrated strategic plan commissioned by Monaghan County Council and prepared in collaboration with the Rockcorry community. The Vision Plan was developed over a number of months in a consultation process involving local residents, community organisations, sports clubs and businesses in the Rockcorry area who put forward their views about how they would like to see their village and community develop to 2030 and beyond. The plan, when realised, will facilitate the regeneration of Rockcorry as a sustainable village capable of meeting the needs of its existing and future residents, both in the village itself and the surrounding hinterland.

We are formally inviting all voluntary community groups/organisations in the Rockcorry area to affiliate with RCDA. This invitation is also open to local business enterprises.

In order to fund our activities, we are organising a Townlands Table Quiz on Friday, 7th February at 8pm sharp in St Mary’s Hall, Rockcorry. Our hope is that as many teams as possible from all the townlands in the area will enter.

Townlands may enter more than one team.€20 for a table of 4. There will also be a raffle on the night.
